the smogged out 440 they put in those was a real dog, the 383 cars were a lot more powerful stock1976 Jensen Interceptor Series III. Yes, the gurgle of the 440 would have to be replicated.

I know a friend with two Vanagons(T3s) - someone should graft the ID.4’s drivetrain and batteries onto a Vanagon or a original Beetle. That would be awesome.
