So my g703 just failed... started doing the doubleclick.

I am considering simply replacing it with another as I like the shape of this mouse.
any other suggestions for a similar mouse?

I also really liked the G5 and G500 from long ago.

Detested G604, G602, disliked the alien shape logitechs such as the g502

Budget $50-$60 would be great but I'm willing to splurge... maybe.

Replacement g703 is $60 and I typically use it wireless.

Diablo4, WoT Blitz, fallout 4 type gaming. I no longer competitively game so hand comfort is priority vs small/lightweight
The g703 size seems near ideal not being too flat or too humped.
Hand size = I wear XL gloves.

Check out the M720. It has a very similar profile. However I have small hands and it's comfortable for me.

The Pro X Superlight series also seems to have a similiar profile to the G5/500.

I also have the M750 -it's slightly larger than the M720 but my hands are more used to the M720 so I stayed with that.

I know I don't answer your question but if you are handy, you can open it up and bend the metal contact a little to get better contact.
The contact usually goes flat as it gets older hence creating double click.
Then you will get a few more years on the mouse unless the switch has worn out.
It is on YT on how to do it with any mouse.

I love the Kensington Expert Mouse trackball. It's not portable, so be warned. When you get used to the large trackball, you can't go back to a traditional mouse.

I have yet to be disapointed by any keyboard or mouse from Glorious.
They can get a bit off the deep end price-wise, but then again not everybody needs a model 03 with hot-swappable batteries so you don't have to stop gaming 😊.

The regular Model D wireless is around 50 bucks as of now.
