What manual tranny did you cut your teeth on?

1951 Ford with a flathead 6 and 3 on the tree. Took my driver's test in the same car on my 16th BD. Sure wish I still had that car.

Now that sounds truly cool.

1970 Duster 340 with an A-833 four speed manual transmission. But first I had to rebuild the engine, and transmission. Quite a task for a teenager that had never rebuilt an engine or transmission prior to that. I finished the task in time for that car to become my first car, at age 16. Wish I still had it.

4 speed ford fairmont with the 200-6. Surprisingly easy and a great car to learn to drive on in general.

The first Manual car I remember seeing was the 84 ranger my dad had for a while, wasn't old enough to drive it lol

The first one I got to mess with was a 88 or 89 Hyundai Excel... lol

The one I spent anytime really driving was a 98 Dodge Neon.

A 1951 Ford one ton grain truck, followed by a roughly 1974 GM with split axle. Now, people wonder why I dislike manuals?
