There are a lot of smart people on here from a wide swath of the populace. I've learned a great deal about a whole host of issues other than oil.

Yep. Pretty much the most diverse group of people on one internet forum.

There is a legitimate expert for every subject that comes up.

Thanks to Tegger, mechtech2, and the other guy that is I believe an "insider" at Bosch automotive products, sorry I cannot remember your screen name.

I think he's referring to dparm's dad, who worked for many years at Bosch.

Absolutely agreed. The width and depth of knowledge here is outstanding, and MANY more members have made great contributions. I could not begin to even imagine what my life would be like without Kreen to help me with fleet maintenance issues!

Thanks BITOG!

I like the people, the way things are run and I enjoy helping others on here anyway I can.

Absolutely. My thread about my buddy's old Chrysler anti-theft system is a great example. The buddy thought it would be odd I'd post it here, rather than a Chrysler specific site. I had already checked the Chrysler sites and similar questions were unanswered for ages. The Chrysler gurus are probably way too bothered with niggling little problems that are likely work related questions during their off hours. There is fantastic knowledge here!

Garak you are right, there are wonderful folks here willing to try and if not help or guide you in the right direction. I am glad I read what Garak has to say, because he knows Quaker State wont sludge up a engine.

He he. If it were otherwise, I would have spent my youth desludging taxi engines.

That is true, and I read your posting on the car alarm. I was glad to see the wonderful BITOG members here helped you out. That is why I love this site.
