Incredible combination of enginerring, finance, globalist and leader. Aka visionary... Alien power baby!

Manufacturing cars with far less parts. And now the giga press.
Supply chain issues have been managed so much better than the big boys.
Builds state of the art factories where his market is; a dagger to competition.
A short time ago EVs were a joke. Now every manufacturer is scrambling to switch over to electric; following the leader.

Revenue (Q1 YOY 3x) is up and CapEx is down. Margins, both gross and operating are the impossible dream of any car maker.

You don't like Tesla or Musk? Fine. From a business standpoint he has no peer today. The numbers don't lie.
  • Tesla
  • SpaceX
  • Boring Company
  • Neuralink (my favorite)

First let me say I am a big fan of musk. Way more than you can imagine.
But a lot of your post is speculation. I’m rooting for him don’t get me wrong but to mention all these businesses and compare them to other companies that have been around for 50 to 100 years would be wrong because Musks businesses have not been around for 50 to 100 years.
We don’t even know where Tesla will be in five years from now he needs to build a track record. It’s just a car doing nothing special that any other car is doing

When you are a mover and shaker you have a right to blow your own horn.. I am down with that.

Interesting point about speculation. I specifically supported my "enginerring, finance, globalist and leader" statement with accomplishments.
The next 4 statements support each point in order.

But you may be right. Which part do you find speculatory? All good @alarmguy. I appreciate your posts.

An alien would have built much more advanced spacecraft. Space-X has no interstellar or even interplanetary capability.

He seems to be able to be on the leading edge of making future technology commercially profitable. He was in early on digital payments, then electric cars, a charging network for electric cars, re-usable rockets, global fast satellite internet(big big deal in rural anywhere, and I laugh as the Canadian big stupid greedy telecom oligarchy panics...). I don't how the neural link stuff is going, but there's no real doubt that this technology will have a huge market at some point in the future.
I doubt he ever will go to Mars even if its possible in his lifetime, he just thinks that having people on two planets is a good way to keep us from going extinct and is a small step to us being a spacefaring species, and not blinking out like the dinosaurs...

I think his main drive is just for humanity to get into the future successfully, and too work on that how he thinks is best... To do that he knows he has to make money, lots of it, so he's doing that along the way too.

You say Tesla has no peer.
Tesla manufactures cars and to say they have no peer as far as an investment standpoint I don’t see how that could hold water.
The stock sells at a speculative 200 times earnings in a world where car manufacturers are a dime a dozen and just ramping up competition in the electric vehicle market.

Maybe I’m just misunderstanding your post, but wouldn’t it be reasonable that tesla could have a hard time a few years down the road if they don’t come up with anything new?
It’s just a car with a battery and an electric motor which I would say much easier and simpler to assemble than a fossil fuel burning vehicle.
Maybe it’s just my perception of the automobile market in the future, nothing but a bunch of standardize vehicles with standardized electric motors and battery packs.
Much like flat panel TVs are today.
What is going to make Tesla special and why is it out of the question that main stream automobile manufacturers in there dealerships which are 1000 times greater than Tesla‘s will not appeal to the public more?

I don’t disagree with much of what you wrote which you know since you’re quoting my post. But all the stuff has to have a sustainable profit. All the businesses you mention are not under one company brand name known most Tesla.

I hope there is a grand plan for satellite Internet because right now the cost prohibitive and he’s having trouble making money with it. In the meantime the three major cell network providers will be able to provide up to one gigabit service in the near future to anybody who could get a cell signal.

The automotive industry competition is incredible plus the presence of automobile dealerships far outnumber Tesla dealerships.
The Tesla stock price is down 20% in the last six months. I suspect it will rebound but what’s going to happen in two years when all the major manufacturers are turning out electric motor cars like McDonald’s makes hamburgers?
SpaceX time will tell, you cannot invest in Space right now.
With everything said don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t mind being in on the stock of a company that he has in mind for the next greatest thing I just don’t know what that is at this point but I certainly hundred percent feel it is not electrical automobiles but what does it matter what I think ?
I probably wouldn’t be in Bob is the oil guy if I got stocks right my whole life, I would be out on my yacht cruising around the Virgin Islands with scantly clad ladies or something. 🤪
