We have @AutoMechanicWe need more aliens like him!

Musk is a heck of a lot smarter than Scotty Kilmer......The last thing we need are more Musk or Scotty Kilmer threads.
Rev up the SEC!Yet equally irritating.
That's your opinion....I find him refreshing....a 'leader' and not a follower like so many others today.Yet equally irritating.
First let me say I am a big fan of musk. Way more than you can imagine.Incredible combination of enginerring, finance, globalist and leader. Aka visionary... Alien power baby!
Manufacturing cars with far less parts. And now the giga press.
Supply chain issues have been managed so much better than the big boys.
Builds state of the art factories where his market is; a dagger to competition.
A short time ago EVs were a joke. Now every manufacturer is scrambling to switch over to electric; following the leader.
Revenue (Q1 YOY 3x) is up and CapEx is down. Margins, both gross and operating are the impossible dream of any car maker.
You don't like Tesla or Musk? Fine. From a business standpoint he has no peer today. The numbers don't lie.
- Tesla
- SpaceX
- Boring Company
- Neuralink (my favorite)
Interesting point about speculation. I specifically supported my "enginerring, finance, globalist and leader" statement with accomplishments.First let me say I am a big fan of musk. Way more than you can imagine.
But a lot of your post is speculation. I’m rooting for him don’t get me wrong but to mention all these businesses and compare them to other companies that have been around for 50 to 100 years would be wrong because Musks businesses have not been around for 50 to 100 years.
We don’t even know where Tesla will be in five years from now he needs to build a track record. It’s just a car doing nothing special that any other car is doing
He seems to be able to be on the leading edge of making future technology commercially profitable. He was in early on digital payments, then electric cars, a charging network for electric cars, re-usable rockets, global fast satellite internet(big big deal in rural anywhere, and I laugh as the Canadian big stupid greedy telecom oligarchy panics...). I don't how the neural link stuff is going, but there's no real doubt that this technology will have a huge market at some point in the future.First let me say I am a big fan of musk. The next 4 statements support each point in order.
But you may be right. Which part do you find speculatory? All good @alarmguy. I appreciate your posts.
I don’t disagree with much of what you wrote which you know since you’re quoting my post. But all the stuff has to have a sustainable profit. All the businesses you mention are not under one company brand name known most Tesla. He seems to be able to be on the leading edge of making future technology commercially profitable. I doubt he ever will go to Mars even if its possible in his lifetime, he just thinks that having people on two planets is a good way to keep us from going extinct and is a small step to us being a spacefaring species, and not blinking out like the dinosaurs...
I think his main drive is just for humanity to get into the future successfully, and too work on that how he thinks is best... To do that he knows he has to make money, lots of it, so he's doing that along the way too.
