what is there to do in the plano tx area?

have a friend moving there for work. thinking of visiting him in may or june. Never been to texas. so whats there to do in that area? i like to eat and look at scenery

I have lived in Plano since 1984 (minus 5 years in mexico city) there is tons of stuff to do. Look up the city of plano website rhat will give you an idea of what to expect and do. One of the big attractions is the Plano hot air ballon festival butsince covid alot has changed, we may revert back to mask mandates and limited capacity so idk.

Don't forget Southfork Ranch is just a hop, skip & jump from Plano.

Tons of shopping and dining. There's Top Golf, malls, Cigars International has a fancy store in Frisco, etc.
