What is the best diff oils for my Toyota 4Runner

Front diff 75w90, Tcase 75w90, rear diff 80w90. I have some of the GM 75w90 synthetic grape juice left...should I use that in the front & tcase?

Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90

I use the Severe Gear 75/90 in my 06 4Runner in all locations. It is on the lighter side of the 90 weight which Toyota has since recommended for this application.

Is the rear diff a limited slip?

x3 for Amsoil, however, I'm running the 75w110 in my rear diff. I have the locked TRD diff in my Tacoma.

Why 110? 75W90 will serve you just fine. I did a 1500 mile tow with 3500-4000 lbs going from Cali to Texas lots of hills and mountain climbs...once in Texas its all flat. I had 40K on Sever Gear 75W90...still looked brand new. No silver paste on the drain plug.

I like Amsoil's 75W-110, it's a nice compromise.

You should have the center diff lock, not the rear in your 4-runner. Even if you did have the LSD, amsoil severe gear already has the additive in it.

Amsoil severe gear 75w90 gets my vote. The best you can get.

Note: The severe gear is a gl-5 lube, so make sure your owners manual says to use gl-5 in all 3 diffs. My 07 tundra is spec'd for all 3 diffs GL-5, but says i could use a GL-4 as well.

I was reasoning that since I have larger and heavier tires on than stock, and given the fact that I take the truck off-road a few times a year, I felt the 75w110 was a good compromise for a bit more protection for the extra abuse the diffy gets.
