What have you always wanted to do but haven't yet.

I did this in 1973 on a 750 Honda. 12,500 miles in 8 weeks. After working 5 years as an engineer, I took the summer off before starting law school. Saw all those places. When I needed to get home, covered 2000 miles in 3 days, Rocky Mountain National Park to New Jersey.

I was 26 years old then.
Thank you for not rubbing salt in the wound and telling me how it was the greatest adventure of your life!

I've been fortunate to do several things on my bucket-list, but I'd still like to go into Space.

Maybe Bezos will give me a ride if I renew my Prime membership...

Just do what I do.. I collect Safari rifles and here in Maryland I go cape buffalo and elephant hunting often.
Haven't got one yet but someday...

Everyone should hunt elephant at least once in their life.

Nothing goes to waster in hunting elephant. The villagers fet all the meat and it gives them needed protein. When you shoot an elephant- it’s amazing- you can ve out in the middle of nowhere in the bush and villagers just appear. Nothing goes to waste- three hours after you shoot an elephant there is just a grease spot on the ground. Even so, it brings a tear to your eyes having shot such a magnificent animal.

Advantages of hunting elephant:

Population management: Hunting can help manage elephant populations, reducing human-wildlife conflict and protecting crops.

Economic benefits: Trophy hunting can generate significant revenue for conservation efforts and local communities.

Conservation funding: Hunting permits and fees can support anti-poaching efforts and habitat protection.

I bet you'd be more likely to get a ride on his 500 million yacht but you never know.

I'm sorry but aren't some elephants endangered? I don't think we have an elephant overpopulation problem in Africa. They seem like nice animals that might occasionally flip over a Land Rover if you get too close,

Killing deer and other nuisance animals, I'm totally fine with that. Too bad you can't shoot out of a car or hunt in public whenever you want. I'd have shoot a 1000 deer by now!

It’s a misnomer that elephants are endangered. Elephants need to be culled every year because of loss of habitat. They encroach on human populations and the are a lot of PAC (problem animal control) elephants that destroy crops and native villages. An elephant will knock over and kill a 30 year old tree just to eat the leaves - and it kills the tree. Very destructive. It is very expensive to hunt an elephant (50K+). That money goes a long way for conservation, anti-poaching, feeding villages, etc.
