BITOG does not spread disinformation. The site uses moderators as fact checkers.
What was the disinformation? I saw lot of factual information about battery ingredient, where it comes from, etc. It seems thought processes about EVs stop at “it doesn’t use gas, I just charge it at home.“ We have no exces electricity in this country and,new power plants are not being built.

New power plants are being built. Where did you get that idea that they're not? It's more natural gas than anything else, but industrial power generation is inherently more efficient than on-demand internal combustion engines.

Besides that, solar and wind are also coming online. The thing that might be the limiting factor is the grid needs to be updated. The other deal will be time of use rates that will encourage charging electric vehicles at night.

Was it bitog wrong think to delve deeper into the EV vehicle fad?
It shouldn't have to be explained but:

Number one, the article was unattributed. References and an author's name and his qualifications would have been helpful; they were not supplied. Apparently it was a swipe from the internet without any determination of its accuracy.

The article rambled. Usually, the reason for writing an article or its theme is spelled out in the first sentence or paragraph. This was not done. What was to be the point of the article? No one knows.

Inaccurate technical statements.

Political content in some places.

So with this explanation this thread is closed as well.
