What GL-3 Manual Transmission Gear Oil ?

The Polaris Slingshot has a GM 2.4L motor with an Aisin AR5/MA5 manual transmission.
The handbook calls for a GL-3. I'd like to use a synthetic and am thinking perhaps Redline MT-90 which is GL-4 and says its good for GL-3, or Liqui-Moly which is rated as GL-3, but really pricy. I'm a preferred Amsoil customer but not sure if Amsoil makes anything good for this transmission.

Suggestions please.

Most GL-3 applications now recommend 10w40 engine oil (for example, the Aisin AX-15 in my 1999 XJ). But MT-90 is also very good, even though its technically GL-4. Sadly, you're not going to find anything on the shelf for cheap that doesn't carry a GL-5 rating, which is what you absolutely want to avoid.

Any good dedicated GL-4 such as the Redline MT-75W85 will work well for wide temperature applications.
