What do you guys think about the AFC & NFC Championship Games? Who do you think are going to win?

I would not mind seeing the Indy Colts win. They have never been to the Super Bowl as the Indy Colts, but twice as the Baltimore Colts. But I think that great offense might be slowed by the weather in New England and I don't think they have the defense that New England has.

My guess is that New England will win-they were 14-2 in the regular season and at one point won 13 games in a roll, despite lots of injuries.

I would like to see the Carolina Pathers win, because they have never been to a Super Bowl. This game may be hard to call-Carolina has a great defense.

On the other hand, it would be cool seeing Donovan McNabb in his first Super Bowl.

No Seahawks....but what WAS I expecting?

These series can end up often being the best games, that's for sure and then the SuperBowl is a let down. But this year it looks like 3 good games, no matter who wins. Gotta root for the Panthers and the Patriots.

The great majority of all the Super Bowls I have ever seen were BORING. But there have been a few really great ones, like Tennesse versus St. Louis, and New England versus St. Louis. I like when a game goes down to the wire. For me, the Super Bowl between the Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers was really exciting. But I had gotten used to Denver losing in the Super Bowl. The next year, when they beat Atlanta, was far less exciting-but it did give them two Super Bowl victories in a roll.

Could be a defensive struggle in New England, especially with the weather. And for that matter, the Philly and Carolina game may also be a defensive struggle.

I would not mind seeing Carolina make it to the Super Bowl. I would like to see every team have a chance in the Super Bowl.

Yeah OK Al. Hey Al, baseball season is in the air...well ok, my anemones and and crocuses may start popping up any day....spring in January...well maybe here!

Did you hear about the hot pants proposal for women's soccer? I already like that sport, now I'll be glued.

MillerMan, I was very upset that they did not go for that first down with only a yard and a half to go. The way they were running, they probably could have picked it up, and that would have been the game.

I was even more upset when St. Louis went for the tie rather then trying to win the game. They probably could have tried two more offensive plays. But in the end I was happy to see Carolina win.

the pack had no choice but to go for it, they lost the game the same way they lost it in the regular season, the coach just doesn't learn

The real NFC championship was already played between Carolina and St Louis.

Indy is the team peaking right now. They played two playoff games without punting once. Granted New England's defense will change the no punting string, but I still think Indy is on a roll.

Either team will have no problem with Carolina in the Super Bowl and it will be a sleeper 4th quarter. There is proof of this in the fact that the network is working hard to sell the 4th quarter commercials.

Well, now that the games have been played, I am happy Carolina won. It is their first trip to the Super Bowl. I had been hoping for the Indy Colts, but the way they played they did not deserve to win. I am beginning to think that Carolina is the most under-rated team in the NFL.

I was able to view parts of the games at work.

Actually I think I picked it pretty well. I had a feeling that the Colts would not be able to maintain that offensive production, and I was not real impressed with their defense either. It has been proven time and time again that a team has to have a great defense to get to the Super Bowl.

Carolina has a very good defense. Might be a different story when they play in the Super Bowl-New England is for real. Philly was kind of weak in run defense, and when McNabb went out Philly was really hurt. I had a very strong feeling before this gams that it would likely be tight. But my guess was that Philly would likely win. Maybe with McNabb they might have. But Carolina is being under-estimated badly. I would not want to bet on the Super Bowl.

The Pats are on a huge roll and I wouldn't bet against them! Plus they are my team!

I was actually glad the Pats beat up the Colts! I was sick and tired of hearing about how great Manning is and his recievers, blah, blah, blah! They beat 2 soft playoff opponents especially the Chiefs. The Broncos just were not into the game and lost. The Cheifs defense is horrendous and they have had a soft schedule all year so that outcome was expected. The Colts were given false hope that was quickly dashed by the Pats. The Patriots are physical team that will pound you. They force you to beat them. They will allow you the oppurtunity to beat them and if you don't capitalize on that chance the window will close and you will lose!

--Very, very, very frustrating and sad day in the Philadelphia area. We are used to it by now, but this one was a bit shocking.

GM as long as we don't lose to those North Jersey/New York, rat infested, polluted Giants, I really don't mind as much. I'm from southern NJ, the nice part.

Andy Reid NEVER addressed the Wide Receiver core. Sorry but Todd Stinkston and James Thrash are not going to win you a superbowl. However, with a fully healthy Defensive line and a healthy Westbrooke, things might have been different.

Buster I was very disappointed in the Eagles losing!

I can imagine how you feel! I was pulling for a Pats, Eagles Superbowl since it would pull good ratings with 2 large markets. I thought it would be a good matchup! The Panthers thing just doesn't cut it but hopefully it will be a good showing.
