All sorts of stuff, I have dozens of CDs in my car. Anything from Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Eagles of Death Metal to Thin Lizzy to Metallica to Japanese music.

For the longest time after I got my car, I was the same way. I would try to listen to music but then I got annoyed that I couldn't hear the engine perfectly.
That went away after the novelty wore off, but I find it coming back the more time I spend away from my car. There really is nothing like an engine that's breathing well.
I'm a ham radio operator and have a radio set up in my car. NO , NOTHING LIKE A CB !!!!
Got a 7 foot antenna on the roof of my Toyota Celica , and I can talk to other ops around the world from my car.
I put about 150 miles on a day....so this keeps me company big time.

91.9, Louisville's NPR station for music no other stations play.CD's of alt country bands like Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo,Jayhawks,Josh Ritter,Counting Crows, the Wallflowers just to name a few.
Between texting, phone calls, eating breakfast, catching up on the newspaper and working the GPS system, I don't focus on the radio very much. I mean... I have to draw the line somewhere while driving, in order to be safe.
My 15 year old just got her license. We were driving the other day when "I CAN'T DRIVE 55!" by Sammy Hagar came on the radio. I was teasing her that this might become her new favorite theme music. lol
Actually, I then had to explain to her that long ago in the dark ages, the national speed limit on the freeways was 55. Wow. To her, it was like... "can't he get up to 55?" She didn't even understand the meaning of the song, because it's now so much in the past.
