I found the Utz Pretzel jugs work great. I put a oil funnel on top and it worked great. Btw, has anyone tried "Unique" extra dark pretzels? They are really good.

12 quart drain pan with a spout. When it is full I take it to AAP and dump in their recycle container. I also drain my old oil filters the best I can into the pan and when I get enough filters collected I put them in the oil filter recycle can at a Tires Plus near my house.

I have a 5 gal container, which allows me to tote the oil to work where they allow us to dump the oil for recycling.

If it comes in 4-5 Quart bottles. back in that.

If not, 1 Gallom Milk jugs.

Put them at the curb, mark 'em "used motor oil" & they take 'em.

Get this - I saved some up, so this was picked up last week...........

I've got a 10 quart drain pan with a spout. From there into whatever bottles I have handy (last time it was 2 liter pop bottles).

I'm playing around with getting a brand new 5 gallon bucket, and mounting a spigot at the bottom, then cutting a round hole in the lid and putting screen over the hole. That way it's something that's easy to fill and easier to drain.

12qt drain pan. Pour the old oil in a couple one-gallon milk jugs then take them over to the Autozone down the street for recycling. Couldn't be easier.

I have one of those round steel 5 gallon gas cans, I just put all the motor oil in there when I get 5 gallon, I take to Autozone or Advance auto. Any 5 galllon gas can would work, its easy for them to pour and it saves trips.

Of course the oil drains to a drain pan first. Then I put all the used oil in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. For the oil filters I place them in a cut open milk gallon jug. I save up all the automotive waste plus other household waste (batteries, fluorescent lamps, etc...) and take them to the hazardous waste facility.
