What do people here think about BG products?

I was wondering what people here think about BG products. My Saturn dealership uses BG products and I have noticed BG44K fuel system cleaner at Toyota, Nissan, and Honda dealerships. Some people are really big on BG engine flush and BG MOA engine oil supplement. I have seen BG products advertised on TV also.

I think the BG44K fuel system cleaner works well, but is way overpriced compared to Techron concentrate, Regane, Redline, Berryman's ....

The stuff is wayyyyyy to strong. I have heard that a lot from many different sources and that kept me away from trying it. The probably are very effective at cleaning though, but at what price is the question?

So far have not seen anything negative show up while using their products at the dealership I work at. mainly use the induction/injector service and the 109 engine decarboniser. Tried the 109 on my car and it shut up my lifter that would bleed down (synthetic helped a lot but did not fully solve) at idle and it is now just on Havoline conventional. 44K is just for every 24K to 30K miles they also have a maintenance dose for once in a while to every tank use.

BG is one of the better snake oil product companies. It's still basically snake oil though. Some snake oil products can be beneficial when used properly, but the tendency is to push their use for far more than is needed.

Insanely overpriced.

Some good products like 44K , and some poor or outdated products.
