Let's see . . . Memories . . .

1st wife: We actually didn't have a car until she inherited a little money and bought the '75 Maverick 4-door. By that time we were almost married, and got married soon after, so it wasn't really "dating."

2nd wife: first the big white Mercury Park Lane, the 1965 model with the power rear window; then, briefly, the white '74 Volvo that burned up while I was driving it; and last the white Ford Escort. Downhill all the way.

Miss Linda: first the silver '89 Olds Cutlass coupe, then the gold '94 Olds Cutlass coupe; the dark blue '84 Mercedes 280CE (she was my co-pilot in a road rally with the MB Club); the gray 420SEL; the gold C230; the dark gray Buick Park Avenue, and now the dark gray Buick Regal.

No car. 2 stroke, single cylinder dirt bike. A Yamaha IT 490, with full knobbies and a street legal tag, lighting kit and horn.

She had a 1984 Honda Civic

The 1985 Dodge D250 8 passenger riot van. Aka the Tali van. It was one sweet ride...... Obviously she saw through the raw power and remarkable lines to settle for me.

It is a tremendous blessing to have a wife that doesn't object or nag you about your vehicle collection.
