What BRAND oil filter do you use?

OEM Toyota(dealer installed)
Fram Ultra Synthetic or Titanium
Purolator One or Boss
SuperTech ST or MP
CarQuest Premium(Blue)

That about it for now. Occasionally, I'll use an AC Delco in my Firebird FORMULA but since(in my app) it's the same as a SuperTech or other le$$ expensive filters, I'll use the cheaper filter over the AC.

What I have currently in my filter inventory. Not exactly brand loyal, mainly look out for whats good here shown by others and share my own experiences as time goes.

Fleetguard LF16011 (StrataPore media) looking to run this one next on my daily.
Donaldson P551132 (Synteq media)
Fram Titanium FS3600 (OG Pink media) currently running one to almost 10k with 36 array magnets for upcoming UOA particle count
experiment.
Fram Ultra XG2870A (OG Pink media) currently running on my 1989 Nissan 240SX
Service Champ HP4459 (Synthetic media) for my Subaru WRX and future flat 4 secondary daily driver.
STP S3600 XL (SynBlend media)
MicroGard Select MSL51516 (SynBlend media)
Purolator LX7317 (SynBlend media) for family Honda

Whatever is in my stash, ( which is huge),,,, Toyota OEM, Bosch, Mahle, Honda OEM, Renken...Never had a problem withe any of these. Do the flashlight test before installation, just in case they slipped a louvered one in there. So far, they all have holes, no louvers :)

Lately I've been using the new (made in Korea or Vietnam) Mobil1 filters because they are readily available at Wally World just one mile away. The 30 micron spec doesn't bother me but I could drive seven miles one way to get a CarQuest Premium should my thoughts on the matter change.

For now the lawn tractor with 22 HP Briggs V-Twin is going to get another Fram TG-3614 since I have one in the Queue. I've more or less sworn off of Fram Filters after seeing the look of the cartrige filter that went into our Prius V this Spring.

I use a few different brands, not brand loyal, just trying to get good filters at reasonable prices that's all.
Mann made in Korea for H/K cars, VIC made in Japan for Toyota, factory Mazda for Mazdas, avoiding Fram for over 20 years, occasionally a M1.

I used Mobil1 M110 for many years when the were sourced from Champion, stopped and went to OEM when they went through the M&H phase due to quality concerns, various sources, including here at BITOG showed questionable results. Factory filters (essentially Fram in a blue can) are essentially rock catchers, but Honda warranties their engines with them. Recently, testing with the new M110a, now apparently sourced in South Korea seems to show improved quality so may try one. Looked at one Recently and it looks and feels like a solid filter, I'd prefer 100% at 20 microns, but 30 has to beat the OEM.

I do mostly 5k OCI so I buy whatever name brand or store brand is available at the best price. See my sig for current filters.

I have a lot of Ecogard X series on deck. If Supertech ST filters were available for all my cars i would just use them; most are identical to ACDelco.

Ford OEM oil filter, its the same oil filter as Mann filter W 7057 on my 2018 Mk4 Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost 125hp.

Mostly Mahle and Mann. Tried a Hengst (Polish-made) for the first time recently, and will see how that goes.

Build quality seems better than average, but still not quite to the level of the other two. Center core uses louvers, and had some excess glue residue. The main rubber O-ring in the kit is white, not black rubber.

Mahle has shifted, if not outsourced, production of some older applications to India, and in those cases, will be choosing Mann by default in the future.
