What BRAND oil filter do you use?

1 orange Fram
1 Prime Guard
2 SuperTechs

I'm frugal and illegitimate.

I used to buy Purolator, then Wix, then Fram ultra.

Now I just buy OEM from my local dealer but I get a lower price if I order online. I just pick them up while I am out and I usually buy 4 to 6 at a time. It helps that my wife and I both drive Toyotas.

With my Tacoma there are plenty of premium choices. I use either M1, Fram or Castrol. The old cars don't have any premium filter options so I use standard filters, Wix or Fram generally.

Not looking to start a war on what filter is BEST. I just would like to know what brand everyone uses for their own vehicles as I am now changing oil on my brand new corvette and a 22 diesel Tahoe. What brands do you guys like consistently?

OP, I'm curious, what parameter amongst our opinions is going to influence your choice? Performance, warranty, cost, something else?

- Microgard Select. Was a WIX user for years... but.... I haven't found a better filter than the Microgard.

For the 4 wheeled vehicles - Champ (ACDelco / SuperTech)
For the 2 wheeled vehicle - HiFlo Filtro

Fram is out that’s for sure. They made a mess of the part numbers I use.
If Boss had been $8 all along, those would be the only ones now. Purolator of course is the brand.

I generally use M1 filters. If not available where I shop, Walmart, I look for top model Frams. K & N and top Wix filters I trust as well. Never had a filter issue in over 50 years of driving.

For the Volvo I am using Hengst going forward. I've used OEM Volvo and MANN in the past.

For the Hondas I am using Mobil 1 or Microgard Select going forward (once I'm done with my Fram Endurance runs)
