What are you paying for regular gas?

87 octane( I don't even look at the prices for 89 and higher as it scares me too bad )here yesterday was in the $3.35-$3.50 range depending on town and what brand. It was $3.15-$3.21 the day before that though. I imagine today we are probably nearing $3.75 at the more expensive stations.

Totally unjustifiable and going to cause havoc with our "supposedly" recovered/ing economy.

$3.499/gallon for regular unleaded in IL.
$3.299/gallon for the same in the St. Louis Metro, just across the river.

I wonder if the folks in MO mutter under their breath about all the IL plates in the boarder gas stations like us Hoosiers?

The 7-11 nearest my house went from $3.49 to $3.69 overnight. The BP station up the road was actually cheaper @ $3.59 today. We'll see if that still holds tonight.

Too bad the decreases aren't $0.20 a pop.......

I'd think they would be happy. That tax money MO and IN get while the miles driven in those states on the fuel is far less. I.E. buy gas in MO, tear up the roads in IL, it's a win for MO.

With oil's spike today, we'll all be paying $0.25 more/gallon come Monday. $4/gallon national avg. coming very soon. I can't wait! /sarcasm

What I don't understand is how some people can drive half way across the country in a big RV while towing a car. Wouldn't flying to the city be better and cheaper ?

I saw a 30 foot Coachmen RV towing a Toyota Prius all the way from Oklahoma in the FL Keys a few weeks ago. I guess the gas saved driving the Prius at every city they stop at and sight see will off set the diesel burned up by that fuel hog RV.

3.54 today for 87 at the Mobil in Broward at Sample and Powerline Road...The pump said 4 cents off for cash but when I used my Mobil-Exxon mastercard the 4 cents off price come up on the pump readout...That is the first time I ever saw this Mobil station have a separate price for cash/credit as I use this station all the time.

It is not about "better and cheaper"; it is about having a home that travel with you. One of those dream like you wake up from your bed one day and the world outside your home change, instead of putting on a backpack and go travel.

Even though I do not have the intention of ever driving an RV, I understand how this is the "dream" that people like my dad have on his bucket list.
