My friend claimed RP PSF cured the leaking on his 99 Audi. He would just top it off, not a full flush, so I dunno. Anything would be better than the Pentosin, which looks good on paper, but is too thin when heated. I just use ATF+4 in everything and it works great. The Audi guys love it.

i have some extra new quarts of maxlife atf here how do i find out if its ok to put in mine?

If its red and your maxlife is red like my taurus, ranger and corolla is then put it in. I used it in 3 cars and it works great. dex/merc is a very common substitute for red ps fluid.

What sort of "everything" do you put ATF+4 in? Aren't the friction characteristics a little different with ATF+4?

I drained the cheap hydraulic fluid out of my $200 aluminum jack, and filled it with RP.

The difference it made was amazing.
