Agreed; BMW even sells an accessory M Sport wheel with all sorts of readouts and timing functions built into the tiller.

Never knew any of the above mostly because I tend to not focus much on what I can't realistically have lol. I learn something new every day!

Clarkson drove one on last weeks Top Gear. He said it was a beast. So powerful you had to watch what you were doing and did not consider turning off the electronic aids. Too much power.

The ONLY visual cue I do not like on that car is the Smexus IS F rear fascia exhaust outlets.
Albeit considered 'over done'/played out since it's done by MANY supercar makers, and it is not a standard/usual Marinello move, I still think this monster would look even better yet with two BIG outlets in the middle of the fascia.

But whatever the case, even if you cannot stand the Prancing Horse brand, and can find rides which will outperform this one, one CANNOT deny that they are the EPITOME of 'panache'.

I guess that is the closest one will EVER get to an F1 gearbox in a street legal car, correct??

Bill, I thank-you for the video but I blame you...for ruining the front of my pants...

I must be blind. I don't see it.

After he turns the knob to "race" mode, its about 10 seconds later that they show the gauge cluster. Look at the steering wheel at that point, its pretty quick.

the only reason I know it is from watching Top gear.

the only Ferrari i could hope to own, is die cast, and says either Hot Wheels, or Matchbox on the bottom.

I can't get into modern Ferrari's styling, way to wind tunnel techno for my taste.

They really have reached an amazing level of technology and performance though.

The Dino, and 275 GTBs were the top end of their actual styling (I don't know if these were Pininfarina, or Bertone styled cars

), with the Dino being one of the most curvaceous/sexy looking forms ever to take the road on four wheels.

The 275 does look very narrow from a straight on front view by today's standards though.
