What 2 Cycle oil and Gas to use?

I have a 1978 35hp Johnson Outboard, that just came back from being serviced.

What 2 cycle oil should I use? (TD30?TD50?TCW3?,etc)

What grade gas?

I would use a TCW3 oil and at a minimum 89 octane gasoline.

I use TCW3 (SuperTech) at 50:1, along with the correct amount of Stabil mixed with premium gas in my two-stroke Johnson. This solution has worked well for me for years. I am now switching to the new, stronger marine grade Stabil, which is blue in color.

Use Supertech oil its just as good as any other brand. I been using it for years in all my boats i have ever had.

Superdan; alot of outborad manufacturers call for 89 or 91 octane, my Merc. 40 is one exmaple.
