These are apparently a semi-legit brand, they are owned by Tire Group International apparently, and mostly made in Turkey and India (not China). Probably about on tier with like Achilles and GT Radial who are made by Indonesian group Gajah Tunggal. On a Charger: "MONTREAL". Uhh.
Are you sure those are her tires? I am sure she says "she rides better with the Thunderer".A woman at my office has some kind of Kia or Hyundai sport ute, she just put tires on it a couple of weeks ago, they are called "Thunderer". I have never heard of them but she says it rides a lot better now.
Digging into these tire brands is interesting, you find some connections. Thunderer is a Thai manufacturer, owned by Deestone (popular offroad/ATV tire brand). Surprisingly few of these "off brands" are actually Chinese. Are you sure those are her tires? I am sure she says "she rides better with those".
I have those on my Accent. My son had some cheapies he bought at Mavis, "Prinx HiCity"
