For my used oil analysis I want to use wearcheck if possible, I trust them a bit more than blackstone at this point. And a $20 used oil analysis gets you a TBN too, you need a $30 B-stone to get a TBN. But I can't figure out there website-how do I order a test kit, or set up a used oil analysis or whatever? Anyone have experience using them?

I use them, should only be $16 with TBN. Go to the contact area, and call the folks on there. Tell them that you are a private consumer, and that you are paying by credit card. Theyll send you out as many as you want.
They dont always do TBN for gas engines. Even if requested, often theyll give TAN instead.

price was what drove me to wearcheck.
I don't know if they are consistently better than Blackstone, but their labs here in Canada automatically include viscosity measures at both 40C and 100C and therefore the oils VI.
The one in the US doesn't measure viscosity at 40C, or at least it wasn't reported on the two samples that I had them analyze.

Thanks pete, but I managed to find their email and sent one out to them. The price is definitely beter than bstoen especially since i want a tbn
