Hopefully this is the last of it.

This Afternoon
Snow before 2pm, then rain and sleet, possibly mixed with snow. High near 38. South southeast wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of around 2 inches.

Yep, we had 2" on ground when I got up at 6:30 yesterday morning. Was like 10f this morning and real icy out. Where is April weather?

This is getting really old, the snow and cold that is...
Must be payback for a relatively easy winter this year.

Last weekend: Saturday was in the 60's, so I started raking the yard. On Sunday temp got down to 30, and it decided to snow while I was raking the yard.

This weekend: It was 40 yesterday while I raked. I think today is closer to 50. But snow and freezing rain tonight, then back into the 50's.

Everybody complains about the weather, but nobody does anything about it.

That's why 55 years ago when I turned 18 I packed up and moved southward from Wisconsin.

Mid 70s for an afternoon high and Sunny here in Southeast Alabama!

Ok, don't rub it in!

Personally I'm too much of a sissy to live in the South. Heat and humidity year 'round? Bugs too?

Not me. I'd take zero-degree days over 90F+ days any time. Especially if humidity comes with the heat.

I'm a Yankee (Born in ME) and lived most of my live in the Mid Atlantic (PA,DE,NY) but also lived in the Midwest and in SoCal for some years as well, finally moved to the south east and even though I have been here for almost a decade I still have a hard time dealing with summers.
But it is nice to have relatively moderate winters.

It moved down here in February. Now we're starting summer. (Gahhh.)

Way up here in the arctic region of western Canada, we are into our 3rd day of 71F+. Our winter lasted all of 2 weeks around Christmas. My snowplow has been dormant...thinking of putting it away.
