I just found my old small bottle of WD-40,. Typically I neeed to spray Kroil or silikroil to my sliding door wheel every month especially after rain, otherwise the door is very difficult to slide open. WHen I use Kreen, the first few minutes the door will stil quite heavy because the wheel will slide on the railing rather than rotating.
This round since I found unused WD-40 that perhaps I have kept almost 10 years, I just use it to spray the sliding door wheel. Surprisingly it penetrates better than aeroKroil, and let the wheel rotate rather than slide.
I thought it is a placebo, and I tried on other 3 doors with same result.
Just surprised that the cheapo WD 40 works better on corroded door wheel than aerokroil.
