Washers

I would love a big front-loader. Save water and electricity. Washing fewer loads (although our Maytag top loader is large) would be an added plus.

I would deal with mold growth. Our water/sewer bill is already $80/month. Ridiculous.

Not the case with the Bosch. I can hit the start/pause button, pause the load, open it, and put more stuff in.


Also not the case with my Maytag Neptune. Found a sock on the floor (much to the cats' annoyance)? Pause it, wait for the door to unlock, toss it in, hit start. It takes a moment to relock and resume but it works like a charm.

Yup, that's the same set my parents have. It has worked well for them.

lol what is it with cats and socks? After we do laundry, we'll be sitting there watching tv or whatever, with the laundry basket there. One of the cats will slink into the room, trying not to be seen, stick her head into the laundy basket and root around, until she finds a pair of socks, and then tears off. We'll find it in the water bowl later that day, usually.
