Wal-Mart tires?

My local Wal-Mart did an OK job of installation of the tires, but the Douglas tires I purchased left much to be desired. Marginal snow traction, lots of hydroplaning, and they protested loudly when pushed in corners, like highway exit ramps. Then again these were mounted on my Mom's 98 Corolla, which might have been part of the problem! I'd buy tires from Wal-Mart, but avaoid the cheap Douglas models.

WOOCHOW maybe if you take a off ramp at the posted speed limit and not like a indy car driver. the tires wont protest. my wifes malibu has the same tires and has no prob in the snow and taking off ramps( at the posted speeds) the tires never protested. never had a prob with hydroplaning. just dounds like you drive like a bat out of ****.

Wal-Mart tires perform to the best of their abilities. I have bought several sets at Wal-Mart and have never had a problem with the tire or the installation of the tire. I have always bought the Uniroyal tires from Wal-Mart though.
