Amazing all these useless put down posts being answered over 25 of them or more..But when i asked an automotive electrical technical question about a Toyota Avalon very very few respond which was ok it took 4 hours but i found that short myself even know Two Toyota dealers and an electrical shop could not find the problem in the past. It took an engine guy to get to the bottom of that problem, Something i don't do on a regular basis.I understand some people just like to jump on the band wagon because they just don't have anything useful to say but that ok. When i was writing the post i figured everyone would say the things that were said and i think its nice it reminds me of first grade..lol
A few people knew where i was coming from.. And the sad thing is you guys were correct i should have read the label.. When i get into my Volvo later i am going to read the namplate on the back just in case!

Im so happy you posted that because i already did that and she says it's a very grey area and if taken to court even with a frozen damaged system we would probably lose but on the other hand they may throw some green at you to make it go away (quietly) because you never know what direction the jury will go, remember the Hot coffee that spilled into the lap?? The bottom line is i should have read the label.. It's still a little "walmartish" in my book.

Agreed, I see a lot of summer formula here in Michigan...during the summer. Especially the rain-X bug-off +32 stuff for some reason.

I accidentally bought some at a truckstop around 5 years ago. It was the first time I saw +32 also. I took it back, though. I figure I'll just use water.

PS, technically, it's no big deal. I have both summer and winter WS fluid in my garage. I start topping up the reservoirs with winter fluid about the same time you start hearing pumpkin spice everything.

If it's really a problem, you can pump the contents into an empty jug and refill with the winter mix when you need it.

It's marketing. Why would they call it "protection" if it weren't protection? Why would they say to Zero C if they aren't counting on people half reading the label?

Look at that shoddy oil PQI busted bodegas for selling.k "5-30", meaning, somewhere between a 5 and 30 weight. They know you're looking for 5w30...

It would be like a screen door without any sort of latch claiming burglar protection to the Pope's specs. The Pope doesn't issue burglar specs! Or a motorcycle helmet made of paper mache...

Yes, they make a winter fluid for folks who read the label which works fine here in the frozen north. If you think Wally is the only place selling summer fluid you're wrong. Dumping high concentration alcohol on your hot car finish on a 90 degree day isn't the best for long life, although the new water based finishes stand up better to such solvents.

That is a sad commentary of the state of our country that reading a label with large letters is not good enough.

There's lots of cheap bike helmets around, if you can read you look for DOT and Schnell approved markings. How much is your head worth?
