I just noticed what are called "dynamic hub emblems" on a Jetta on my way to work this morning. I guess these are a scaled-down version of the "spinner" wheels that were popular a couple of decades ago. The small hub logo in the center of the wheel stays stationary while the wheels are spinning.

Have you ever noticed these? Have I just been under a rock for years? Are these an actual VW group part? It looks like they are only for VWs and Audis.

Whatever happened to "Unpimp ze Auto!"

They have been available for a while. Gained popularity after RR and Bentley started installing them.

Not cheap MSRP $185 for four. Cool but I wouldn't want someone intrigued by them driving right next to me looking at them instead of the road, so they're a no for me.

^^This and the inescapable need for most of us to keep our vehicles as "unobservable" as possible to prevent theft and molestation.
These notions aren't new ones.
