I answered it twice now. Why not ask the others who gave the same recommendation as I did? See their reasoning as well. I can't answer for them.

Did you not see my response to Astro? Why do you feel I'm selectively persecuting you.

Seriously, I give up. Not going to waste any more time here.

Well maybe I'm missing something, you did quote demarpaint, and asked your question again. What did I miss? Is Astro's name Frank? I made a direct reply to your post. Maybe I can give up too if I'm no longer quoted or called out..........

You could also consider putting "JMO" after your recommendations so we know to not ask you for your technical reasoning.

It would save the trouble of having your Uncle Trav come into the thread firing off insults at everyone hoping to derail the discussion, although I suspect he really enjoys that.

You could consider ignoring me Mark, I went by years on this site w/o issue, then you came. If you ignore me we won't have any problems. JMO How about it Mark? You might consider ignoring "Uncle Trav" too.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I already ignore you and Trav precisely to the degree I wish to.

Now how about you and Trav stop insulting me and others?

None of this would have happened if you held off with the petty cheap shots, read the thread you'll see just where you kicked it off...... Time to watch Football, enough of the Troll feeding. I wasted enough time with you. Enjoy!

Sorry OP, I gave a suggestion, and my reasoning, good luck with your oil choice. I'm done here.

First of all i wasn't referring to you as a troll. Yes you were ganging up on demarpaint!
Stop playing innocent, it was quite clear thats what was going on.
Doing it to me is one thing but franks a nice guy. But I'm not!

Due to the short tripping and inevitable fuel dilution I think a 40 grade only makes sense in this application. If it was primarily a highway runner then maybe a 30 grade would make more sense but the way this vehicle is driven I think the 40 grade suggestion makes the most sense.
Or a 30 grade and very short intervals perhaps.
