Volvo S-60R - opinions?

I agree that the Volvo seats are comfy. I used to rent them from Hertz when I had a lot of driving (long distance) for work.

I still rent them from time to time, but I've also noticed that the Cadillac STS and DTS seem to have equally comfortable seats. Couple that with the seamless suspension that Caddy's have been known for, and you have a combination that'll out-comfort a Volvo (tho the ergonomics on the Volvo are better I must admit).
Another car I've enjoyed rentin is the new (post 08) Taurus in SEL trim. That car really moves, esp with the AWD system! consideirng your gettign near luxury performance out of a Taurus, makes renting those Caddies and Volvo seem pointless.

We took an ownership of a 2007 Audi A6 yesterday. It's a pretty sweet car - seems like a different species compared to other cars out there. I'm still trying to figure out how the car works. The owners manual is 395 pages long. The MMI (equivalent of the BMW iDrive system) manual is another 200 pages long. So far I think we know about 60% of the car's capabilities.
Will probably post a couple of pictures soon.

Based on the records that came with the car, that's the oil in the car. I plan to stick with Mobil 1 0w-40 in the future. The 55k service is due in 1,700 miles (or 6 weeks of driving) and I am trying to figure out how the oil change is done. Will need to go to the dealer and ask them where the oil cartridge is located (I think it's under the car somewhere).
It's a nice car. Looks good and is quite sophisticated inside (no need to even use the key to drive). I like using it but shudder at the idea of something electrical needing repairs. I think data network is mostly fiber optics in the car so it may be more reliable than I expect.

Since it looks like the filter is easily accessible from the top, personally, I wouldn't even bother draining the oil the traditional way. I'd just use an oil extractor instead.

Looks like the same engine layout as mine. Will check to see if the cartridge is under the plastic thingie like it is for that A4.
I like changing the oil on the cars with cartridges on the top. With a vacuum extractor, it's a quick and clean job.

Just checked it. The cartridge is under a pop-out cover on top of the engine bay. It's gonna be a clean and easy job here, too.
