Volvo coolant, 2003 S60T

Other than the dealer is there any recommended coolant for the Volvo.. ?? On the label of a G-05 antifreeze, Volvo is conspicuous by its absence .
 
Thank you for the quick, very quick response ( 20 minutes or so) .
blue ? the color means a little .. BMW , Mercedes use G05, according to Zerex's label .
 
If you want to stick to the original, use G48.

But G-05 is very similar, and of the same HOAT chemistry, so it can be used as a substitute.

Zerex actually makes G48 available now in quantities smaller than the 50 gal drum.

The big chains only seem to carry the 50/50 pre-mix, but gallons of the full concentrate can be had from other suppliers.
 
Around here, G48 is hard to find. Sometimes it’s easier to just get the OE coolant.

FCP Euro has it. $20 or so for full strength.

Probably why the original owner used the Volvo dealer AF-coolant. Around here, York County, PA , all things are hard to find .. all GOOD things ..
