Volvo AWD Bevel Gear lube?

I have a 2001 Volvo Cross Country Wagon V70XC model, AWD. This is 'pre-Haldex' and has a bevel gear AWD 'transfer case.'

Can anyone spec the proper lube oil for the bevel gear unit? [I am not even going to ask the dealer for the Volvo fluid, they want $20 per Liter for 'their' brand ATF, I shudder to think what the bevel gear oil would be.] {and please skip the owner's manual 'lifetime lube' citation, thanks in advance!}

What you need to find out is 'which oil is the dealer using for this $3000 bevel gear'.

There was a TSB for the lube for earlier year bevel gears.
