The return line nipple broke off in my hand while removing the hose.

Glad it happened in my driveway and not on the Cross Bronx Expressway!

Working on a remote reservoir configuration. This would isolation the engine vibrations.

Volvo 240, '80s era? I'd put an OEM back on it. It's seen a lot of time and miles, right?

Sam, I think we've talked about this before, but Sue's and my first brand new car was a 1982 Volvo DL 2-door with 4-speed manual and overdrive. Without question one of the top 4 best cars of the 30 or so we've owned. Super reliable and rock solid.

If you were closer, I would just give you the entire pump assembly from my wife's 91. After one of the small lines on the rack got damaged, I patched it with a piece of fuel hose and never reinstalled the belt to the pump. 4 years later, it's still the exact same way, I found it really easy to steer even with the power steering not enabled.

If you were closer, I would just give you the entire pump assembly from my wife's 91. I had a unit in my stash of 240 parts. It’s in the car with a new return hose. Return hose is an OE banjo, two high pressure clamps, OE hose. Mobil 1 ATF. Car is running perfectly.
