Volume of transmission fluid

96 Camry 2.2L Automatic transmission
Any body knows what is the total volume of fluid in the transmission?
My manual says it is 2.6Q for drain and re-fill. i want to calculation how many time should I drain and refill to replace 80-90% of the old fluid.

If no one has an exact answer, the general rule of thumb is you get 50% out with each drain and fill. This means:

1 - 50% new
2 - 75% new
3 - 87.5% new
4 - 93.75% new
5 - 96.875% new

So the short answer to your question is 3 changes. You really hit the point of diminishing returns after 4 changes.

Initial Fill: 2.7 qts.
Total Fill: 5.9 qts.
