This is a video from the thunderstorm in my neighborhood that knocked out the power for 3 hours on Saturday. Very thankful for the linemen who got our power restored from several large trees that fell on power lines during the storm.

Dang, seems more like a hurricane.

I'm grateful that a little while back, the lines were buried in our neighborhood-haven't been losing power as much or as long.

No, probably one of the fishermen who were in the bass tournament. I have sense to come in from the rain. I think the wind gusts were in the high 60s.

I remember those storms on Lake Martin. It can get intense very fast.

Looks like high wind for sure. Trees down, roof damage? I've been seeing a lot of marketing signs falling over, from storms lately, which is ok by me.

We had 25 deaths in our neighboring county from an EF5 tornado during the April 27, 2011 super outbreak, so naturally we are a lot more on edge here whenever a tornado warning is issued.

Nature is beautiful, and worth seeing. But I can see where some would not like to see it twice.
