Out with the old, in with the new...
Changed out Quaker State synthetic 5w30 today (I had a 4.4 litre jug laying around after last winter and topped up to 4.7 litres with 300ml from Toyota 0w20 I have (Eneos version).
Judging from the bottles I filled with the old oil, I'm quite happy with the very very low consumption.
Refilled 4.7 litres with Toyota 0w20 (the rare Eneos version (I have one unopened litre left that I may save hoping it appreciates in value...lol) which I will run for the winter (about 10000km again). Then I have a 4.4 litre jug of Valvoline synthetic 5w30 I need to get rid of for next summer.
After that I have two 5 litre jugs of Toyota 0w20 (Exxon version) that I will need to get rid of. Was planning on running 0w20 all year, but had these two jugs (the Quaker I just drained and the Valvoline for next summer) that I want to get rid of.
Anyhow, roughly it looks like 1000ml x2 and 850ml x3 which equals 4550 out of the original 4700 I put in over 10000KM. Not bad.
*edit* Thought those lines on the bottle were 200ml intervals..actually they're 100ml. So closer to 4350 from the original 4700. Still happy with that.
