25 runs Methanol injected 555cid Drag engine
about 900hp spins to 7500 14.4:1CR
180HP NOS on gas from time to time.

This looks like better results than the Kendal UOA. What do you think?

I was thinking fairly good report on a drag racing engine until I saw the insoluables at .9. Wonder what is up with that? Do you use a oil filter? Highest insolubles we have ever seen reported I think.

Perhaps methanol leaves some sort of deposit in the oil.

Just have to wait and see if one of my countermeasures to this issue resolves it, as predicted. I will have a Schaeffer's Race oil UOA in the future. If I'm right, they should be in half this level at that time. Some of it is from Gliptal paint flaking off in the engine. Can't do anything about that now. Yes, I use a System one 30 micron pleated mesh filter. No there is no air filter!
BTW The UOA on the Kendall 20W-50 GT-1 race oil had 1.0 insolubles. I always see metal flake in the oil filter oil when cleaning this filter. It's eating itself!!!!!!
