Valvoline SynPower

If I can ever get the rebate site to work, I would like to purchase a few jugs of Valvoline Synpower 5w30 to use in the 2010 Altima V6.

However, I heard that there was a recent reformulation to Synpower. I tried searching for the thread, but was unable to find any information.

Could someone please fill me in on the details as to what changes may have occurred?

About a year ago they started using Na in their oils. Synpower 5w30 now meets GM 4718M.

Last spring, Valvoline stated they would meet HTO-06 by the end of the year, so there must have been some changes or changes to come.
