Focus just rolled to 100k Thursday. Truck has 152kk on itMiles on each? previous OCI's on each? Which one do you think would potentially benefit more from added cleanup?
As will a lot of DI engine owners!
I haven’t read anything to date that has shown VRP will definitely clean intake valve deposits. Then again, time will tell.
I’m honestly surprised by the atf. I figured they would get to the 0w-16 sooner rather than later. Gives hope they’ll come out with more weights.VRP 0w16 and ATF coming out. There are SDS for it.
I've never seen a transmission that needed to be cleaned that didn't require a rebuild. Transmissions just don't get "dirty" outside of metal & clutch wear.VRP 0w16 and ATF coming out. There are SDS for it.
I’ll 2nd thisthey need a Euro and HDEO line asap.
Speaking of... how often are we seeing high oil consumption on diesels? Surely they must be using the same / similar low-tension rings as the gassers. Are diesels cooking up the ring gaps?they need a Euro and HDEO line asap.
Did not Valvoline hang the name "MaxLife" on many products?Maybe it's going to be their new premium line for everything?
I was thinking that. Maybe Maxlife is getting disco'd.Did not Valvoline hang the name "MaxLife" on many products?
i don’t think we hear of the same issues much on diesels but why not have the cleaning ability. there are neglected diesels out there that like to sludge upSpeaking of... how often are we seeing high oil consumption on diesels? Not nearly as often because of the high compression and the way they work. But clearly enough that Cummins and a Valvoline co developer Valvoline blue restore to solve these problems in heavy duty diesel. They chose to use high % of esters for that though.Speaking of... how often are we seeing high oil consumption on diesels? Or, I could see them making a High Mileage version.I was thinking that. Maybe Maxlife is getting disco'd.
