This report is from my 2001 Ford Crown Victoria with 146k miles on it, everything is stock and it is used as a highway commuter, so pretty light driving, occasional WOT. Air filter is Motorcraft with 37k miles on it, and oil filter was an FL-820S. Oil change was from 2/12/25-4/4/25 so colder in the beginning but in south Georgia it really started to heat up around March.

I don't know a lot about reading UOA but it looks very good to me, definitely better then my 01 Bullitt I also just posted. I run 3K OCI's but I'm thinking I should just move up to 5K OCI and I will be completely fine.

Al may be slightly elevated at 10 ppm for 3k miles. Maybe the R&P is cleaning? Did you happen to cut the filter open to see what it caught?

How many OCIs have been used with the VR&P? I ask because the Fe is high for only 3k miles.
It's possible that the cleaning ability of the oil is skewing the wear metals; drawing out residual metals left behind from other OCIs.

I had a couple of Grand Marquis back in the day. I routinely ran 10k mile OCIs, and got less than 1ppm of Fe per 1k miles. The vast majority of 4.6l 2v engines wear incredibly well.

That was the first OCI with VR&P. Not sure why my iron would be high, unless it is from cold temps, but it's not that cold here. I've had this car for nearly 50k miles now and it has always gotten 3k OCI with full synthetic 5w30, I used SuperTech for most of this time before I switched to a Valvoline High Mileage then went to R&P, All with MC FL820S.

So with all that said the engine is extremely clean with practically no deposits on the head when I look through the valve cover, so I do not expect the R&P to really do much, I am just curious if it will do anything. On this and my Bullitt I also have a magnetic drain plug, if that changes things.
