Thanks for this. I think this will clean just as good as the first version. The only difference is this is using a CK additive pack.
Absolutely. Was thinking this myself. I know it helped my 04 yukon Denali out tremendously.

Any notes you can share? Dirty filter etc
Thanks for testing it. Any good way to obtain it & what's the price for a gallon these days?

#4 was the gen 1 composition. They're using 50% POE (Priolube 1973) and Synesstic 12 (AN) 10%.

As you can see, there is a strong correlation between the common POE used in automotive lubricants and oxidation value. It also takes A LOT of ester to achieve the level of cleaning this product offers. This is not a "run clean" oil but actual cleaning oil. POE looks to be the major cleaning base oil although at 10% not sure what AN is doing. Maybe there is synergy between the two.

Filters actually looked normal. Was surprised but happy at the same time. Had to of been something extremely small causing it. Didn't do a uoa on it because I haven't done one on the truck prior to compare.
It's about 80$ a gallon. Has to be bought at a cummins dealer. I bought mine in Richmond va. 5 gallons was a little over 400$

I've been to my Cummins dealer asking about gen2 twice in the last 6 months.

Maybe when they run out of Gen1 they'll replenish stock w/gen2 and supersede the part#?
They should be able to order gen 2 now.
Anywhere online you can find Gen1 or Gen2?
Has to be from a cummins dealer directly. Gen 1 isn't being made anymore. Whatever is left is what dealers have on stock however gen 2 will have better wear protection. Less calcium and magnesium to compete with the zinc and phosphorus.

Yes, there is a seller on eBay that sells Gen 2 by the case (3, 1 gallon jugs). I bought from him and had an excellent experience.
I forgot about the seller on ebay but also never found out if it was legit or not.
They've never heard of gen2, I even gave them the part# CA98013. They say that brings up the part# for gen1 CA877377. Crazy.
Call the Richmond VA location and see if they can help you out.

Holy ester oxidation! Aside from nail in a haystack availability and very high pricing, is this possibly the best one shot clean as thoroughly as possibly PCMO?
