Absolutely. Was thinking this myself. I know it helped my 04 yukon Denali out tremendously. Thanks for this. I think this will clean just as good as the first version. The only difference is this is using a CK additive pack.
Any notes you can share? Dirty filter etcAbsolutely. Was thinking this myself. I know it helped my 04 yukon Denali out tremendously.
Filters actually looked normal. Was surprised but happy at the same time. Had to of been something extremely small causing it. Didn't do a uoa on it because I haven't done one on the truck prior to compare.Any notes you can share? Dirty filter etc
Thanks for testing it. Any good way to obtain it & what's the price for a gallon these days?
I dont understand how. It's been out for a while and being a dealer they should know the products. My local Cummins dealer carries VPB Restore gen1 for $80/gal. They know nothing about gen2.
I've been to my Cummins dealer asking about gen2 twice in the last 6 months.I dont understand how. It's been out for a while and being a dealer they should know the products.
They should be able to order gen 2 now.I've been to my Cummins dealer asking about gen2 twice in the last 6 months.
Maybe when they run out of Gen1 they'll replenish stock w/gen2 and supersede the part#?
Has to be from a cummins dealer directly. Gen 1 isn't being made anymore. Whatever is left is what dealers have on stock however gen 2 will have better wear protection. Less calcium and magnesium to compete with the zinc and phosphorus.Anywhere online you can find Gen1 or Gen2?
Yes, there is a seller on eBay that sells Gen 2 by the case (3, 1 gallon jugs). I bought from him and had an excellent experience.Anywhere online you can find Gen1 or Gen2?
