Valvoline Maxlife full synthetic chat response, asked about moly.

Uh... here is the gf-6 maxlife report from PQIA.

I’d bet that their full syn add packs look mighty similar. Jake from State Farm obviously doesn’t know anything.

Hi, I’m the poster of the Sentra UOA with Valvoline Maxlife Full synthetic SN, SN plus, and SP. The SN/SN plus formulation had 61 ppm moly in my oil test. PQIA confirms that both the SN and SN plus maxlife full synthetic have around 65 ppm moly.

PQIA did not test the SP formulation yet, but my oil test showed it had over 300 ppm moly.

Now, I’m running valvoline extended protection as that’s advertised as having the best wear protection, will post uoa of that.
