Has anyone used it ? Its not rated. Has anyone used Cobalt #2 for wheel bearings ?
Got anything to support that?Fancy marketing and names, thats about it.
Yup, the hundred some odd hours of personal research I put into it, but my brain isnt in a format that would be helpful for you (a pile of goo)Got anything to support that?
Thanks, the tube does not show a GC rating, but the tech sheet you posted states it exceeds GC requirements after 100hr oxidation. It's NLGI #2 rated. Here's the specs.

Huh? Cobalt has been around for a long time. Never used it, would consider Schaefer’s 219 myself, but it will be good to hear OP’s experience…Seems like the Saudi money is trying to make Vavoline more prominent.

Yes it has, but with Restore and Protect, their new Euro oil, this fancy tube oil of grease...it seems (to me at least) like Valvoline is trying to re-establish itself in the marketplace.Huh? Good to hear!Valvoline cobalt is my favorite grease, very thick and sticky. Had really good luck preventing corrosion and rust. I have repacked my trailer bearings with it, so far so good. It also has some of the best Timken and weld load results I’ve found in a grease.
Looking at even trc crown and chassis 880, specs show Timken 100 but like 315 weld load. I’ve yet to find a grease that has 800+ weld load and 70+ Timken.
I’m sure someone else will chime in but I’ve really liked cobalt so far.
