Vacumn Pump Oil Pricing

Granted, my frequency of Vacumn Pump Oil is not like a HVAC tech....

Motor Oil at least for me hasn't really changed price wise..

But the current jug of RobinAir Vac Pump Oil hovers at what I think is 2X than the last time I purchased it....and more per gallon than I pay for Synthetic goodness. Is Mineral Oil that much these days

Vacuum pump oil has volatiles removed from the mix. This would factor in with the cost.

Most of the hvac supply houses around here have it for 7-8 a quart.

I just bought a 55-gallon drum of Mobil Vacuum Pump oil at work for $1,890.65.
Greater Charlotte NC metro area.
That figures out to $34.38 / gallon or $8.59 / quart.
