V8 Supercars - the Greatest Race

No Bathurst isn't live here. Speed Channel should be broadcasting a 2 hour highlights show next week. All the more reason why I am determined to go to Bathurst next year.

On a side note, I was reading the alcohol rules for camping. Is 84 cans of beer, 1 cask of wine, 1 750ml bottle of liquor and 24 cans of pre mixed liquor per person per day really a limit??

If you do, give me a yell, I can show you a couple million horsepower at the power stations. (I'm about 65km from Bathurst)

paraphrasing Top Gear, its when a bunch of Ford fans and a bunch of Holden fans get together and have a huge fight, and then a car race breaks out.

Hi,
Shannow - Yep - wow what a smack for Fabian. Poms can't handle the speed.....sorry? A damaged tyre eh?

Gotta spread my time with the V8s and the men's cycling Road Race in DeliBelli

I didn't do the whole stint in front of the TV,but watched the start and finish, and a few bits inbetween...and had a sleep too.Incredible that Fabian just got out and walked away after 6 rolls at that speed. That put a couple of Kiwi's out before the first lap finished. Not many safety cars this year, that usually spoils a good race. There was some hope for Van Gisbergen in the closing stages with his economical car and hard driving - but he tossed it away on the restart.I didn't think it was a good race this year, pretty boring all round.
