I have no doubt the Osprey will be removed…
Whether in one piece, several large pieces that can be reassenbled, or a lot of small pieces of scrap metal, is the question.
Looks like given the turf, terrain, and weather, a whole bunch of small pieces is the only option…

The newer more updated ones could theoretically. Payload is around 20-25t depending on model. But yeah.

It will be removed. Question is whether it is salvageable.
I think issue here weather conditions and proper removal. This is far North in Norway and weather is already an issue. That means probably removing all fluids for now and anything that can cause damage, and then removing it next summer.
The water is too shallow for anything of necessary size to approach and according to Norwegian Armed Forces dismantling is nit an option (could not find yet why).
