UV Lamp replacment

The UV lamp for my water system is due to be replaced soon. Are the lamps hard to replace? Last year I Paid to have it replaced. I would like to see if I could change it my self. I have never replaced one before. It’s a Lancaster model LWT-UV009

What does the UV lamp do when using it for your water?

UV kills bacteria and viruses, without affecting the water. Hence the euphemism "daylight is the best disinfectant"
