using multi steps with Mothers FX

Ok so I am going to try some Mothers this year.
I want to try the FX on my CX9, but I want to do a pretreatment on the car first not just jump into fx.
I want to do it as follows
Clay
Mothers pre wax cleaner 1
Mothers sealer and glaze 2
Mothers fx Synwax

I have been getting mixed reviews
I have some detailer's telling me the fx will strip the stage 2 and it wont have any effect. But on the flip side of the coin a mothers representative told me it would be a good combo, I am not sure if this to be true or just a way to sell yet another product. The sealer and glaze is a good product for polishing, but the cleaner in fx is said to remove this.By this I mean it will strip away any benefit stage 2 would provide, it wont harm in any way. I figured Id see if anyone here had an educated opinion on this mater.

FX does have a very, very mild cleaner in it. So I would think it will strip away the glaze. But, FX is very good as a final coat. The only thing you might want to do is another step with Mothers reflection spray.

I side with the detailers. Sealer and glaze hides imperfections through filling the imperfections versus actually abrading the imperfection like a polish. Synwax will remove that layer as will any other AIO product. You may get "some" correction with an application of #2 after #1, but the value to effort ratio is your call. Synwax won't give you much correction and multiple layers doesn't do much either. I'd recommend Clay, #1, FX, but you could always try a panel with #2 layered in. Results can be a personal thing.

I wish they'd make a nice pre-wax to fx, something with a little more correction, something to bring the depth to fx like the 3 step california gold does. Its just my cx9 is silver and they claim the fx is much better for silver. That's why i'm straying from the standard and going to fx

Polish/Waxes - This class of waxes blends excellent protection with rich polishing oils that will increase the depth and gloss of any healthy paint. As with Pure Waxes, optimum results will come when used on a finish that has been cleaned of defects such as bonded surface contaminants and swirls, light scratches, oxidation and other below surface defects. Due to the composition of these products some concealment of very fine swirls may occur, but defect removal is not the intent of these waxes.

I believe Mothers FX Synwax falls under the same category, as does Meg's NXT 2.0 Techwax & Gold Class.

it does hence why im looking for a good polish before hand. The fx is a light cleaner light polish sealant. That is why im asking for a good pre wax cleaner polish that is compatible with fx

I'm no expert, but I agree with wagonboss and this is what I plan to do once spring rolls around:

Clay
pre wax cleaner -eg Mothers or Megs step 1
Polsih/Wax - eg FX Symwax, Megs GC or NXT 2.0
