This filter was in service for 243 days and 2,415 miles on my 2020 Ford Fusion with the 2.0 EcoBoost engine. The car currently has 56,456 miles on it. Build date of filter is 08/20/2024. Honestly, for $3 and some change I'm very pleased with how this performed. The leaf spring had a lot of ripples but I cleaned it and reinserted it and did the best flashlight test I could do outside in the afternoon. I didn't see any light leakage from under the spring. The pleats were fairly well spaced, the seam was solid, and the fiber endcaps were on tight. The rubber ADBV was still very pliable and held back plenty of oil that came gushing out when I cut it. All in all I'm quite happy with it and wouldn't hesitate to run another one.

The rubber ADBV was still very pliable and held back plenty of oil that came gushing out when I cut it.
If you want to prevent that from happening, take a few Q-Tips, break them in half then shove the straight ends into the base plate holes to open the ADBV. Set the filter with base down in a funnel and let it drain a few hours.

I usually do but the extra plate above the base plate made it quite difficult. I sacrificed a couple of red shop towels instead of bothering with it for this particular filter.

Could probably still get a couple Q-Tips with one end broke off down to the ADBV. Only need 2 or 3 in there to open the ADBV good enough to drain.

Great work sir. I Thank You

I agree 100% the super tech filters are pretty decent for the price point. I bought a case of them and run them in my
24 Toyota RAV4 and 25 4Runner.
Interesting is they both take the same size filter.
I used the 3614 in my 89 Toyota truck. 22re motor. And now in my 2000 Camry V6
